Jenette Swisher, MD
Dr. Swisher was born in Vietnam. She immigrated with her family to the United States in 1975 and was raised in Ohio. She graduated valedictorian of her high school class, and was subsequently accepted into an accelerated pre-med program. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Kent State University where she graduated cum laude. Dr. Swisher attended Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, obtaining her medical degree in 1994. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Summa Health Systems in Akron, Ohio. She is board-certified and a member of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Swisher has been practicing Internal Medicine in this area since 1997. She specializes in the treatment of adults. Her practice encompasses a broad range of health care needs, including treatment of chronic problems (e.g. diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease, lung disease, high cholesterol, etc.), acute illnesses (e.g. sinusitis, abdominal pain, lacerations, bladder infections), health maintenance issues (e.g. physicals, weight loss, preventive screening), and more. She also has advanced training in the injection of Botox and fillers (Radiesse, Juvederm, Restylane). Dr. Swisher is excited to be practicing in Hickory, where she lives with her husband and three kids, and looks forward to helping you with your medical concerns.
