Dr. Anthony P. Zollo, D.O.
Dr. Zollo was born and raised in New York and comes to our practice highly trained and qualified. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He attended CUNY Queens College and graduated with his Bachelor of Arts and Biology in 1978. He went on to New York College of Osteopathic Medicine for his Doctor of Osteopathy degree and then Baptist Medical Center and Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center for his internship and residency respectively. Dr. Zollo relocated to North Carolina in 1991 with his wife and three children.
He has been in practice during that time and has extensive experience in cardiology and wound care. He also served as medical director and laboratory director of several facilities. He services the general scope of Internal Medicine – chronic medical problems (diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, lung problems, high cholesterol, thyroid issues, etc), acute medical problems (sinusitis, bladder infections, pneumonia, headaches, etc), preventative exams, and weight loss program. With over 20 years of experience and an engaging, caring personality, Dr. Zollo is able and ready to serve your health care needs.
